After a long struggle I seem to be seeing some results. I have cashed in about 7 of my last 10 sit and goes

Also took 3rd in a Limit turney for 40$ then took 6 out of 155 in a no limit turney for 90$

Man feels good that my hard work on improving my game is paying off

Im on a heater on party poker. Last night I chopped 3 way in a 20$ turny and took down the winners share of 240.

And tonight I came 2nd in the 3000$ gaurantee for 555$. This is the most I have won playing online and this score puts me in the black on party poker. I am now a profitable player (at least for the moment lol)

Perhaps all the studying I do and blog reading is paying off for me

Would someone eplain how 8 people get eliminated in the first minute of a tournament lol.

Not much happening right now just folding my hands

Just won a good size pot with Ace Queen versus Ace Jack.

End of Level 1- chip count 3718.  (only played the 1 hand so far

End of Level 2- chip count 3208 nothing to report interesting. Lost some chips trying to steal from EP

Card dead early on in this turny so far.

Called a small raise with pocket 2s but had to fold on the flop to a Cbet with big cards

End of Level 3- chip count 2718 need to get going here soon

Took a pot on a bet with Q7s on a ace high flop

End of Level 5 chip count 3668 really struggling cant get anything going today

Going to have to push in soon and hope to double up.

Just tripled up when my pocket 8s caught a straight on the river

Down to 2389 Had Ace king called someones all in with Ace 8 and he hit the 8

Just pushed all in on a flush draw with QJ and everyone folded up to 7184

Raised with AQ preflop and everyone folded

Just lost a bunch with KJ to a scary board way down now to 2639

Back up to 10806 when my shove with 78 caught straight on river

Just stole the blinds and antes with a button raise

Just doubled up with ace 5 against 3 4

Am in the money now 92 people left

I came 85th when my Ace9 ran into aces

I have decided to not play multi table turnys anymore. I am not cashing enough to make it profitable. From Now on I am going to grind it out on single table sit and goes. I feel i can earn a great return on my investment.

I will update my blog after a set of 5 sit and goes. I play usally low stakes on Party poker under name mattrteed. Check me out if u like., Tips and Suggestions are always appreciated. I feel this is the way to go for me now as I strive to slowly build by BR instead of hoping for that one big score

I started yesterday down to 4$ on my initial deposit on stars of 25$

I decided to play a 2.20$ turny with over 2300 people in it.

I played ok and came in about 221th place. I managed to win 4.60$ in this one which was a start towards my comeback

I then entered a 1$ turny with over 4500 people paid and top 900 got paid. I came 320 and made 3.17

my final one of the day was a 180 person 2.20$ sit and go with top 18 being paid. I finally made a final table and came 7th for a win of 13$

so I am on a bit of a roll right now and can hopefully keep it going

Playing a 2.20$ turny on stars last night 180 people and top 18 got paid

 we are down to 17 players and I have about 9 big  blinds left

I get AQ of clubs I shove preflop

everyone folds except this one person who A of hearts and 8 of spades

of course the flop goes heart heart heart heart to give him the flush.

Oh well I guess thats why the best hand doesnt always win

I did cash for $4.32  but was playing well and thought I might be able to take it down

I finally cashed in a stars Turny. Played a 4.40$ 180 sit and go and managed to come 14th for a 8.46$ prize

some key hands were

Pocket aces for me against queens and ace queen which I managed to triple up my stack

flopped the nut flush and got paid again

also had pocket 8s that hit a set on the flop ended up being a full house which won me and 11 000% chip pot

Prob the key hand was when I was down to about 4000 chips and I went all in with pocket 4s and won a race against AQ

this hand gave me enough chips to coast into the money

I got beat out when I went all in with A5 clubs and 2 Clubs hit the flop. I had gotten called by ace king and couldnt catch the other club

Oh well I am just happy to discover that it is possible to cash on pokerstars.

I lost another 25$ on stars over the past week.

I seem never to win a race

I was playing just sit and gos 3.40$

also played a couple of tournaments 2000$ gaurantee

one thing I dont like on this site is the number of players per tournament.

I am not a big fan of a 2$ tournament having 5000$ people in them.

I am thinking of switching back to full tilt.

What does everyone else think? Is full tilt better then stars for you or am I just playing wrong events?

Hello there. so last night I decided to play on Stars which I usally dont do. I usally play on FTP.

So I deposited 25$ and decided to try it out.

I first played a 3.40$ sit and go and came 8th out of 10

I then lost 5$ on the cash tables when AQs ran into Ace King.

I then played a huge 2.20$ turny and came 1600 out of 2400.

I dont know how much I like the site there though but I will try some more small sit and gos tonight and slowly build my bankroll through sit and gos hopefully. Wish me luck
